Our Ongoing Commitment to Mikeysline this Mental Health Awareness Week

As we mark Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re proud to reflect on our enduring partnership with Mikeysline, a charity that has been at the heart of our community support for over eight years.
Since 2017, we have stood alongside Mikeysline in their mission to tackle chronic loneliness, provide hope to those experiencing depression, offer support to individuals struggling with self-harm, and address the high rates of suicide in the Highlands. Their work – from the Hive crisis centre in Inverness to their text-based and online support services – has been a lifeline for many across our region.
Commenting for Boiler & Valve Engineering, managing director Andrew Macdonald says: “Our commitment goes beyond just words. Every van in our fleet proudly displays the Mikeysline logo, taking their message to every area and client we serve. Through the dedication of our team and the generosity of our customers and partners, we have raised over £10,000 to support Mikeysline’s vital services, funding that helps ensure that confidential, non-judgemental support remains available 365 evenings a year for anyone in need.”.
Earlier this year, we were honoured to be Mikeysline’s first Gold Hive Hero and to have played a part in launching an ambitious fundraising campaign that aims to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Mental health matters every week of the year, but this week especially, we encourage everyone to start a conversation, reach out for support, or simply check in on a colleague or friend. Together, we can continue to make a positive impact.
